A RELIV begins with a route and the details that belong to it. It may be a race result, a long day alone, a return to the sport, an event shared with friends, or a route that took years to reach. The process is simple. The data still matters.
1. Send the route
Upload your activity as a .gpx or .fit file. These are standard route-file formats used by GPS watches, bike computers, and mapping platforms. You can usually export the file from the activity page or settings area of the service or device you use, including Garmin Connect, Strava, Wahoo, Coros, and Ride with GPS. Look for language such as export, download original, download file, or export activity.
No file yet is not a problem. A gift recipient can send it after the order is placed. A RELIV Studio Gift Card also works when the event has not happened yet. Production begins when we have the route file and information needed to make the piece.
Before uploading, take a moment to look at the route. GPS data can include your home or another private starting point. If you prefer not to share that portion, trim it in your usual activity or mapping software before export. The line we build is the line in the file you approve.
2. Review the proof
After we receive a usable file, we prepare a digital proof. It shows the terrain area, route line, event details, and the text planned for the archival backer. This is the time to check names, dates, distance, elevation gain, and time.
Nothing enters production until you approve the proof. If a detail needs correction, reply with the change and we will revise it. The proof exists so the finished piece is faithful to the record you want to keep.
If a file is incomplete, corrupted, or does not contain enough route data to make the requested relief, we will contact you. We may ask for another export, a different source file, or additional information. We do not invent missing route data.
3. We make the piece
Once the proof is approved, the terrain is modeled and 3D printed. The route is traced in a brass-tone silk filament that catches light across the relief. The archival backer is printed, then the assembly is finished in a real wood frame. Each piece is handled and checked by hand in our central Arkansas studio.
Please allow 7-10 business days after proof approval for product completion. Shipping time is additional and depends on the destination. We will send tracking when the order leaves the studio.
The finished proof arrives ready to hang. It is a record of a real place, a real line, and a day that did not disappear when the activity saved.
